Washington Quarters were originally minted in 1932 as a commemorative for Washington’s 200th birthday. The issue was so popular that it was brought back as our regular issue quarter in 1934.
Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco all make Washington Quarters.
#123867: Nice even steel-grey and an attractive example of this scarce 'key' date.
#200606: Full detail with considerable mint luster and light russet toning.
#138569: Well struck with nearly full mint luster. Very light golden toning and an obverse bag mark in the right field that bears noting. But very nearly mint state and very attractive.
#140232: Crisp mint luster and well struck. The central area is brilliant while light toning develops toward the rim. A nice example of this key date.
#205915: A pleasing example of this key date with mostly brilliant surfaces that show just a hint of toning. The strike is sharp and the surfaces are free from major abrasions.
#126974: Flashy mint luster and a sharp strike. Scattered minor marks keep this out of a 65 holder, but this is a very nice example of this key date!
